Laundromat Propaganda

For years I have found these same magazines "accidentally" left in laundromats across the entire country. Mainly the parts that have Jehovah’s Witnesses, since they are the ones responsible for the completely ridiculous Awake! magazine. I scanned in some of the fun illustrations.

You can get a lot of stuff for $1 “Easy Money.”

Oh man, I cant wait to sweep!

$1 Baroque Frame! I took out the original picture it came with and printed out a cool fish. This now hangs in my bathroom.

A great flickr set of hand painted signs, folk lettering, and other variations of homemade typography.

Moo & Oink

The amazing blog Suicide Food is all about restaurant mascots that can’t wait to be eaten. One of their better finds is a Chicago butcher called Moo & Oink. If there is one thing I love, it’s Zapp and Roger ripoffs in local commercials. The choreography is even better the second time around.
