How to read Chinese: For white dudes like me.

Serious Eats has a post about “How to Order Chinese Food.” The post was kinda interesting, but there was a link in there to a lay person’s guide to reading Chinese. It’s not about how to speak Chinese, pronounce Chinese, or even understand spoken Chinese. The guide only concerns itself with reading Chinese signs and menus.
This is interesting to me since:
- figuring out how to read and speak Chinese is an enormous task
- I enjoy Chinese food
- I live in San Francisco, CA
So hey, why not.
